One thing that has always interested me has been computers. I began building mine in 2016, and I am very happy with how it has turned out.

Part 1. The Case (November 2016)

The first part of the computer that I ordered was the case. I had everything planned out, and I was very excited for it to come in. The case was a NZXT H440. This case stood out for a variety of reasons, but the three main ones were the acrylic panel on the side, the plethora of fans, and the minimalist red design. It arrived November 29, 2016, and I immediately took it out of the box to look at what would soon house my computer. It was fun to admire, but I realized I did not know everything there was to know about the case. This led to me disassembling the case and planning were everything would go in the case.

While doing this I realized that that the PWM fan hub that came with the case was only made for 3-pin fan connectors. I did not want to use this because of a LED fan that I had ordered from Corsair. After I realized that I did not have a use for the fan, I removed it, and ordered the SilverStone Fan Hub.

This case was very easy to build in, and the only part that was difficult to install was the CPU cooler, but that was not the case’s fault. Overall I was very satisfied with this case, and would highly recommend it for new or experienced builders.
